Description: This is a very rare Chris Reeve Knife. It was made on September 21, 1999. It is one of 400 knives that were made in this limited edition for NICA (National Independent Cutlery Association). This knife was made before the Sebenza 21. The blade was made from BG42 and predates CRK using S30V and S35VN. It has been in a private collection and has been meticulously cared for. By all appearances, CRK could have made it yesterday.
Chris Reeve Knives are some of the finest semi-production knives made. We are very pleased to offer a wide selection of Chris Reeve Knives.
The Chris Reeve Sebenza is the standard for a hard use tactical folder. The tanto blade is hollow ground and stonewashed. It features a BG42 PM stainless steel blade hardened to 60-61 Hrc.
Both refined design and high-performance construction are evident in this folder. The titanium pocket clip is mounted for right-handed, tip-up carry. A fileworked thumb ramp assists with secure handling. Remarkably light for its size, due to the titanium frame. The Large Sebenza features a strong integral locking mechanism that Chris Reeve popularized.
This knife ships with its Certificate of Authenticity, care sheet, original box, wrench, and Chris Reeve polishing cloth. This knife can be taken apart for thorough cleaning - instructions are available at www.chrisreeve.com.
