Description: This custom DC Flipper from by Jason Clark offers a handcrafted build that is both lightweight and pocket-friendly.
The spear point blade is formed from RWL-34 martensitic stainless powder steel. It combines high corrosion resistance with tremendous edge holding. It features a precise hollow grind with a swedge. The blade is perfectly centered with silky smooth action -- easily opened with one hand using the discreet and ambidextrous flipper toggle. The blade uses the IKBS (Ikoma Korth Bearing System) pivot system. This mechanism, which was originally designed to fit balisong knives, uses ball bearings to create exceptional action with no blade play.
The scales are Thunderstorm Kevlar that has been nicely domed and polished. This rare and exciting variation on lightning strike carbon fiber combines brass wire woven into Kevlar strands. A minimal stainless steel backspacer keeps the knife strong, yet extremely light.
The low profile pocket clip is mounted for right-handed, tip-up carry.
Exceptional work throughout!
