Description: Journeyman Smith John Parks creates an exceptional knife. His work has a timeless heirloom quality.
This elegant camp knife shows John's work at its best. The blade was forged to shape from 1095 carbon steel. It is differentially heat treated for a durable, long lasting edge. A hand rubbed satin finish creates a true heirloom feel to this knife.
The handle is formed from camatillo Dalbergia congestiflora) wood, sometimes called para kingwood. The dark wood has beautiful underlying purple hues. The scales are nicely carved to fit perfectly in the hand. The blade and tang are distal tapered for a perfect balance.
The knife is accompanied by a hand stitched black leather sheath.
Captivating for the eye and comfortable in the hand. Excellent work throughout!
