Description: This is a spectacular, hand forged camp knife that lives up to the ideals of the ABS, of which Gary is a journeyman smith!
The 9 inch satin finished blade was hand forged from 5160 carbon steel and features a differential heat treatment. This results in a keen, long lasting edge with a softer, supportive spine. A long swedge runs along the spine making an extremely strong tip.
Presentation grade desert ironwood sits on a distal tapered full tang for increased strength and durability. The scales are secured with two large and two small satin finished pins. Both the spine and tang have been distal tapered for perfect balance. The handle is contoured to fit perfectly in your hand. Both a front and rear thong hole is available for a lanyard setup.
Excellent fit and finish throughout!
