Description: As an avid hunter, Randy knows how a good hunting knife should perform. He loves to "field-test" his designs and feels that a quality knife should not only look great, but perform well as a tool. This knife is no exception.
The hollow ground CPM154 stainless steel blade will hold a great edge, yet be easy to re-sharpen, due to the hollow grind. Hardened to 59-60 Rc, Randy ensured that the blade will keep its edge through the most difficult tasks.
The handle is formed from amber bone stag surrounded by pinecone resin and African blackwood spacers. The pinecone resin is a material that is sure to fascinate and provides an excellent contrast to the bone stag and African blackwood. . Alternating black fiber and nickel silver spacers assist the handle to adjust to temperature and humidity changes. Front and rear nickel silver bolsters bring the weight back into the handle for a comfortable grip.
The knife is accompanied by a hand tooled pouch style leather sheath by Sonja Lee. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
