Description: Jeff Hall finds inspiration in makers such as Al Mar and Ralph Freer. Like their designs, his shapes are clean and simple, He appreciates being able to digress from crafting folders and focus on creating some fixed blades.
This knife's diminutive size makes it an ideal companion. Lightweight and small, it will always be with you when you need it. Jeff used S30V, a very hard yet tough particle metallurgy (PM) stainless steel. The hollow ground edge provides a keen edge that is easy to maintain. It is not distal tapered, but thick all the way to the point for hard use with little concern for snapping a thinner tip.
The handle is made from very attractive stabilized spalted maple scales which conforms nicely to the hand. A deep choil offers a secure grip in either a front or reverse grip. A lanyard hole completes the handle. The use of natural materials for this handle brings an elegant feel to this practical knife.
The knife rides in a Kydex sheath with a ball chain.
