Description: This dramatic, clip point hunter shows the influence of knives by Mastersmiths Ed Fowler and Bill Burke.
The recurve, clip point blade was forged to shape from Aaron's own feather pattern damascus. The intricate damascus combines three different steels to create one of the most captivating patterns that I have seen in quite some time. By forging the blade to shape, Aaron makes the damascus radiate from a central "quill".
The handle combines warm toned desert ironwood with sambar stag. Stag of this quality and size has become increasingly rare. The nickel silver pommel has been carved to match the shape and texture of the stag. Alternating nickel silver and black fiber spacers assist the handle to adjust to temperature and humidity changes. The handle feels so natural in the hand, you’ll have a hard time putting it down.
The knife is accompanied by a hand stitched sheath. The 9-10oz leather has been hand tooled.
Excellent fit and finish throughout.
