Description: This giraffe bone hunter has a dramatic South African look and feel. It was made by Arno Bernard Senior in 2011. It has been in a private collection and is in new condition. By all appearances, Arno could have made it yesterday.
The giraffe bone has been stabilized and polished -- resulting in a high luster handle that is both dramatic and extremely durable. Stabilized giraffe bone holds up well under the heavy demands of outdoor use. The scales are set with five stainless steel pins. Finger grooves make the knife extremely comfortable and secure when held.
The 12C27 stainless steel blade has been satin finished in the hollow grind and mirror polished on the flats, accentuating dramatic, crisp grind lines. A great piece for a collection or to use in the field.
