Description: This knife is the work of Gary Mosser of Kirkland, Washington. Gary was a retired Boeing engineer before becoming a full time knifemaker for a short time. His attention to small details shines through on this elegant hunter. This knife was kept in a private collection since it was made. It is in brand new condition and by all appearances, Gary could have made it yesterday!
The clip point blade is stainless steel with a meticulous polished finish. This knife was likely made between 2000 and 2005 and likely would have been 154CM or ATS-34 stainless steel. The hollow grind makes this a very efficient slicer, whether dressing game or preparing food at the camp site. Gary's touchmark is on the left side of the blade.
Stag handle scales are set on the full tang for strength and durability. They are sculpted to provide a sure, comfortable grip. The scales are fit to the polished brass bolster and spacer. Black G-10 liners will help the natural antler adjust to humidity and temperature changes.
To keep the knife close at hand, a hand stitched leather sheath is included.
