He has been a full time knifemaker since 2008 and creates many styles of knives, including high performance hunters and bowies, ornate daggers, and kitchen knives. His work is found in collections worldwide including the royal family of the United Arab Emirates.
The blade is hand ground from damascus forged from stainless steel. The pattern is high contrast and immediately captivating. The blade is flat ground and razor sharp. Silva's touchmark is on the left side of the blade.
Spalted maple is set on the full tang using brass tubes. This allows paracord to be added for extra retention if desired. The scales have chamfered edges providing a comfortable grip without hot spots.
To keep the knife close at hand, a hand stitched pouch style leather custom sheath is included.
Excellent work throughout!
