Description: Josh Fisher is a bladesmith from Texas and a Mastersmith with the American Blade Society. He primarily makes high performance hunting knives and bowies. His fit and finish rivals many of the best makers out there as expected from an ABS Mastersmith. This hunter will feel just as comfortable out in the field as it would at home in a private collection. This knife was kept in a private collection since it was made. It is in brand new condition and has never been cut with or carried. By all appearances Josh could have made it yesterday!
The blade is hand forged 1084 carbon steel and features a meticulous hand rubbed satin finish. 1084 carbon steel is tough, chip resistant, and holds an excellent edge. A slight recurve increases cutting power when breaking down game. Fisher's touchmark is on the left side of the blade.
The handle is spalted maple burl sculpted to provide a comfortable grip. The thin profiled handle will be easy to carry on your belt. We recommend using camellia oil to protect the natural wood handle and carbon steel blade. The handle is fit perfectly to a satin finished stainless steel guard.
To keep the knife close at hand, a pouch style leather sheath is included.
Excellent work throughout!
