Description: Toor Knives was founded by Connor Toor in San Diego, California. Connor was in the Marine Corps at the time and was frustrated seeing teammates in the Marine Corps having to rely on mass-produced knives that were unfit for mission-specific tasks. By pooling the experience of his teammates and his Army Ranger brother Cameron Toor, Toor knives was able to create a family of blades that fit the needs of airborne operations, diving, close-quarters battle, law enforcement, scouting, and patrolling-related missions. Toor Knives are tough, yet well balanced and easy to carry. Plus, they guarantee their knives for life from any manufacturing defects or issues!
The Viper is an every day carry sized tactical blade that is lightweight, highly concealable, and suited for a wide range of applications.
The compact blade is D2 tool steel, hardened to 57-59 Hrc. A thicker tip adds structural stability and a deeper belly ensures an easy slicing cut. A black finish prevents light reflection and provides some limited rust resistance. Jimping on the spine provides excellent thumb purchase, and the one inch ring at the rear makes the knife easy to draw and provides extra retention.
Handle scales are textured G-10, secured to the full tang. Torx screws allow the scales to be removed for detailed cleaning or rust removal.
To keep the Viper close at hand, a FlexTech Kydex sheath is included. The sheath requires about 6 lbs. of draw which means it will not accidently fall out of the sheath -- but it is still very easy to draw when needed. Multiple friction offsets prevent the blade from rattling even after many sharpenings. Tension can be adjusted using the screw at the top seam of the sheath. Toor Knives' sheath molding and machining is one of the best in the industry!
Made in the USA.
