Description: Frank Edwards began his journey into knifemaking in 2009 and started forging in 2011. He joined the American Bladesmith Society in 2017 and has taken classes from some of the greats in the custom knife world including mastersmiths Bill Burke and Rick Dunkerley. In a relatively short time, Frank is creating world class folders that rival those made by his teachers.
The feather pattern damascus blade was forged from 1080 and 15n20 carbon steels. The high contrast pattern is captivating and will have excellent edge retention. Because this knife is forged from carbon steels, we recommend using camellia oil to oil both the blade and natural stag handle scales. The blade is perfectly centered and has a half stop. It can be easily deployed using 24k gold 'Dellana dots'.
Presentation grade mammoth ivory handle scales are perfectly fit to matching damascus bolsters. Hand fileworked liners surround the backbar. Screws throughout are fileworked.
Excellent work throughout!
