Description: Master Smith Henry Torres makes a tremendous knife. He likes to make high performance, hard use knives. His work is influenced by makers such as Mastersmith Bill Burke. With the sheep horn handle and clear differential heat treatment lines, Burke's influence is clearly visible.
The 6-2/3" clip point blade was forged to shape from 52100 carbon steel -- a steel that many knifemakers and collectors feel to have the highest performance found anywhere.
The handle uses mortised tang construction and is formed from sheep horn. Sheep horn is a perfect choice for hunting and camp knives. When wet, it does not become slippery -- plus it is amazingly durable. The handle is completed with alternating black fiber and fileworked copper spacer.
This knife is accompanied by a pouch style leather sheath.
Excellent fit and finish throughout.
