Description: Trevor Burger is a second-generation knifemaker following in the steps of his father, Fred Burger. He has an eye for detail. His knives have exceptionally smooth action and clean, no-nonsense designs. This custom Atlas SFL Framelock Front Flipper is a perfect everyday carry folder with a streamlined design that will make you appreciate its well executed design. Modified from the original Atlas model, Trevor increased the blade size to 3-1/2 inches.
The blade is formed from premium ELMAX stainless steel, created by Bohler in Austria. At 60 Hrc, ELMAX provides the extreme edge retention, high strength, and toughness a hard-use knife demands. High wear resistance in a steel usually means low corrosion resistance, but not with ELMAX. With this advanced steel, you get both properties, which makes it an excellent steel for daily carry folders. The blade is hollow ground for an easy to maintain edge.
The handle is made from machined and bead blasted Grade 5 titanium. Trevor's maker mark is engraved into the inside of the handle. The backbar, pivot collar, and pocket clip are all made from a matching blue anodized titanium. The pocket clip is mounted for right-side, tip-up carry.
Excellent work throughout!
