Description: Peter Pruyn's Norse Berserker Bearded Battle Axe makes a serious impression! The hefty battle axe head was hand forged from a Billings ball peen Hammer into the battle axe shape and features a scull crusher on the back of the axe head. It is antiqued to appear to be something recovered from a bygone age.
The head measures approximately 5-1/4 inches from cutting edge to the end of the skull crusher. The cutting edge is approximately 4-1/2 inches in length.
The forward weight distribution will make sure you hit your mark with greater accuracy. On its other end, the hammer poll will allow for great utility and function.
The long haft is formed from African Padauk wood (Pterocarpus soyauxii). The wood has a deep brownish red tone. It is completed with a Screaming Berserker bead affixed with leather cord.
This axe is perfect whether you are a Viking enthusiast or just need an axe while out in the field.
