Description: John Leitch's paring knife will feel as at home in a collection as on your desk or used in the kitchen!
The high performance ATS-34 stainless steel blade was etched with a relief for his maker's mark. The blade was heat treated by Paul Bos to Rc 59 and will have exceptional edge holding, perfect for opening envelopes and boxes or doing any other detail work in the kitchen -- from taking the heads off strawberries to slicing fruit.
Black linen Micarta scales are secured to the full tang using stainless steel pins. The scales are perfectly fit to polished nickel silver bolsters. The slim handle is lightweight and perfectly balanced.
To keep the knife close at hand a brown leather sheath designed to be carried in the pocket is included.
Nice work throughout!
