Description: Sam Eddleman is a maker to watch. There's often an element of the fantastic in his knives, with stylistic references to both feudal Japan and contemporary military. Sam made his first knife in 2008 -- as a knife collector he found that making knives himself was the intuitive next step.
The Mini Tanto has been one of Sam's most popular models. The American style tanto provides exceptional piercing penetration offered in a compact, easy to conceal package.
The 3-1/4 inch blade is formed from damascus forged from carbon steels by renowned South African bladesmith Bertie Rietveld. The high contrast, heat blued pattern is absolutely spectacular and captivating. The blade is hollow ground for an easy-to-maintain edge. Sam's maker mark is set into the left side of the blade.
Stingray skin is one of the toughest and most elegant materials available for tactical knife handles. Purple rayskin is set beneath a black nylon, epoxy soaked wrap. Combined, these materials ensure a secure, comfortable grip. Knotwork will prevent your hand from sliding over the blade.
Excellent work throughout!
