Description: I was excited when Mastersmith David Lisch introduced me to Mike Clark Jr back in 2018. Since then, his work has continued to show his tremendous attention to detail. Given the level of work, it is no surprise that Mike easily passed his JS Test at the 2019 Blade Show in Atlanta, GA.
This elegant damascus drop point blade was hande forged from 1084 and 15N20 carbon steels. By using carbon steels, Clark ensures a keen, long lasting edge.
The handle is formed from brown mallee burl (Eucalyptus dumosa). This medium brown toned wood has a convoluted figure that s exceptionally dramatic. The guard is formed from antique wrought iron. As is typical of Mike Clark's work, this knife features take-down construction. This technique, which requires exceptional attention to detail, allows the knife to be disassebled if it ever needs repair.
This knife is accompanied by a custom hand tooled, hand stitched leather sheath.
Exceptional work throughout!
