Description: This exceptional large hunter was made by Argentinian brothers Claudio, Ariel, and Marcelo Sobral.
The blade was hand forged from 52100 carbon steel. This steel is considered by many knife users and knfiemakers to be among the best steels used in modern knifemaking. It takes an incredibly sharp edge and holds onto it. The blade is gun blued to a deep black. The bolster is fully integral. This technique shows tremendous skill in the forge. Few knifemakers are skilled enough to create integral knives.
Contoured stabilized maple burl scales are contoured for a secure, comfortable grip. The faceted wood shows tremendous skill and is finished impeccably. This knife has a perfect balance. It is among the most comfortable handles you will ever feel.
This large hunter is accompanied by a hand tooled, hand stitched leather sheath by Marcelo Solbral.
Absolutely exceptional work throughout!
