Description: Mastersmith Bill Burke makes knives that are as high performance as a knife can get. He is best known for his sheep horn hunting knives and chef's knives. Over the last few years, he has been increasingly inspired by slip joint folders -- and the results have been similarly exquisite.
The complex damascus blades were hand forged from 1080 and 15N20 carbon steels. They are a high contrast feather pattern. This pattern shows Mastersmith Burke's mastery in the field, creating a perfectly proportioned feather pattern for such a small, intricate set of blades.
This classic Two Blade Baby Bullet features a drop point, and a spey blade -- each measuring 2-3/4 inches. The spey blade is very useful for working with livestock and for carvers. For centuries, the drop point blade has been among the most used and practical blade shapes. The action is smooth with firm half stops.
Handle scales are presentation grade stag. The natural texture of the antler provides a sure, non-slip grip. The scales are perfectly fit to satin finished 416 stainless steel bolsters.
Excellent fit and finish throughout.
