Description: Christo Oosthuizen creates an exceptional gent's folder. His classic style folders are lightweight, have great ergonomics, and silky smooth action. The fit, finish and sense of design are superb. Christo is a voting member of the Knifemakers Guild of Southern Africa.
The drop point blade is made from N690 stainless steel created by Bohler in Austria and features a hand rubbed satin finish. N690 takes an incredibly sharp edge and holds onto it. Increased toughness gives it better resistance to edge chipping. The compact blade is hollow ground for an easy to maintain edge.
The blade is easily rotated out using your thumb using the embellished right-handed thumb stud. The blade is well centered and has smooth, consistent action thanks to the bronze washers.
Handle scales are made from a brass-resin composite. The scales are nicely bit to anodized titanium bolsters. This combination keeps the knife very light (just 3.2 oz!). Anodized titanium liners surround a jimped stainless steel backbar.
This exceptional folder is sure to become your EDC.
