Description: Mastersmith P.J. Tomes doesn't make as many knives has he used to, so I was extremely pleased when he called to let us know he had just completed some new knives that were coming our way.
This Frontlock Trapper features detail-oriented clip point blade. It was formed from D2 semi-stainless steel with a hand rubbed satin finish. It has smooth action and is easily opened using the thumb nick. A sturdy front lock keeps the knife locked open so it can't accidentally close on fingers.
Handle scales are formed from ancient walrus ivory. Caramel tones entered the ivory as mineral deposits across thousands of years. The scales are attached with stainless steel pins. A leather pocket pouch makes it easy to safely and securely carry this classic folding knife every day.
Excellent work throughout!
