Description: Journeyman Smith Keith Fludder lives in New South Wales, Australia. He started making knives in 1989 is now a full time maker. Keith's knives are works of art that excel in performance.
This Dark Side Hunter is a perfect companion on any trail life may find you on. The clip point, recurve blade was forged closely to shape. A gun blued finish provides limited rust resistance by providing a protective oxide layer. The blade is forged from 52100 carbon steel. 52100 provides a nearly unmatched keen, long lasting edge. Many knifemakers (such as Mastersmiths Bob Kramer, Bill Burke, and Ed Fowler) and users feel that 52100 carbon steel is among the highest performing steels used to make a blade. Keith's maker mark is shown on the left side of the blade.
The carbon fiber handle is sculpted to swell at the palm, move into a slimmer waist, and swell again at the end. Red fiber spacers provide a flash of color. Both the blade and full tang are distal tapered for perfect balance.
The knife is accompanied by a hand stitched, tooled leather sheath.
Exceptional work throughout! This tactical hunter is sure to solve any problem life may throw at you!
