Description: Japanese knifemaker Captain Bunshichi Koyama's designs are truly innovative. He designs and develops his knives with unique locking mechanisms that immediately capture the imagination. This one features an opening and closing mechanism controlled by a push button. Koyama-san calls this mechanism a Pool-Lock.
The damascus blade is formed from stainless steels forged around a premium VG10 stainless steel core. This combines exceptional edge holding and durability.
Carbon fiber scales are set on anodized titanium liners. Textured and differentially anodized titanium bolsters meet with the handle scales in an elegant S curve. A titanium backbar keeps the knife light and strong.
Nice work throughout on a very creative knife!
