Description: This is an elegant, hand forged camp knife by Gary Rodewald. The blade was forged to shape from W-2 carbon steel. An undulating heat treatment line called a hamon travels along the center of the blade. This shows the transition between the soft, resilient spine and the hard, long lasting edge.
The handle is carved from presentation grade cocobolo. It swells at the palm and toward the pommel for a secure, comfortable grip. It is a knife you won't want to put down. A central hand domed pin locks the handle in place.
Accompanied by a hand tooled leather sheath by Gordon Kenley. Excellent fit and finish throughout!
