Description: Ole Pedersen was born and raised in Denmark but now hails from Washington State and is a new knifemaker to watch. His work shows tremendous attention to detail and has clean, crisp lines. Makers such as Bruce Bump and Todd Begg have guided Ole in the art of knife making. Ole finds inspiration in our avian friends and he named this knife the Duckling.
The hollow ground blade is formed from CPM154 stainless steel. A clip point and distal taper to both blade and tang ensure optimal balance. The blade meets the handle with a deep choil, ensuring a secure grip. The handle scales are formed from red linen micarta and are secured by two steel rivets. By creating a slight dome to the handle, Ole created a knife that is very comfortable to hold. This piece is accompanied by a very nice, custom black leather sheath, made and tooled by Ole's wife, Julie.
