Description: Lyle Brunckhorst has been a knifemaker since 1976 and is an active member of the ABS. He was born and raised in Montana and currently operates his knifemaking business in Washington state, just outside of Seattle. This Dingo hunter was kept in a private collection since it was made. It is in brand new condition and by all appearances, Lyle could have made it yesterday!
The drop point blade is hand ground ATS-34 stainless steel with a satin finish in the grinds and a mirror polished on the flats. The hollow grind provides a razor sharp, easy to maintain edge. Lyle's touchmark is on the left side of the blade. Dingo #039 is engraved on the right side of the blade.
Handle scales are elk antler set on a distal tapered full tang, providing exceptional balance in hand. The contoured handle is extremely comfortable and the texture of the elk antler provides solid, non-slip grip. A lanyard can be added to the back of the knife if additional retention is desired. The scales are fit to satin finished stainless steel bolsters.
To keep the knife close at hand, a pouch style hand stitched leather custom sheath is included.
Great work throughout!
