Description: This exceptional Fighter was made by Argentinian brothers Claudio, Ariel, and Marcelo Sobral.
The blade was hand forged from K720 carbon steel. This tool steel is made by Bohler in Asutria. It is a very tough and strong oil hardened high carbon tool steel. The chemical composition allows it to be hardened to a high degree while maintaining ductity and toughness. At the same time, it is easy to sharpen to a razor sharp edge. A forced mustard patina provides a non-reflective finish.
Contoured stabilized spalted maple burl scales are set on canvas Micarta liners. A full tang provides superior structural strength. The scales are set in place with two Corby hidden bolt rivets. This knife has a perfect balance. It is among the most comfortable handles you will ever feel.
Shark is accompanied by a hand tooled, hand stitched leather sheath by Marcelo Solbral.
Absolutely exceptional work throughout!
