Description: Trevor Burger is a second-generation knifemaker following in the steps of his father, Fred Burger. He has an eye for detail. His knives have exceptionally smooth action and clean, no-nonsense designs.
The LEXK was originally developed by Trevor's father in conjunction with Mike Skellern, and continues to be one of the most popular folders that he makes. The blade runs on bronze washers and has silky-smooth action. It is easily opened single-handed using the gent's front flipper. This mechanism is rotated out with the thumb or forefinger. The blade is perfectly centered.
The blade is formed from N690 stainless steel, with a Rockwell hardness of 59. A hand rubbed satin finish lends an heirloom quality to this knife. It takes an incredibly sharp edge and holds onto it. Increased toughness gives it better resistance to edge chipping. The blade is hollow ground for easy maintenance.
The handle is formed from textured black G-10. By using a single anodized titanium liner, Trevor is able to reduce both weight and thickness of this knife while maintaining strength and durability. A red fiber spacer brings in warm tones. The handle is completed with an anodized titanium pocket clip, mounted for tip-up, right-handed carry.
