Description: Arno Bernard Sr. is a maker from South Africa and has been making knives for over 35 years. He has been a member of the Knifemakers Guild of Southern Africa (KGSA) for over 20 years. Living in South Africa has allowed him the luxury of using many different exotic handle materials -- some even collected himself.
This skinner is made from Bohler N690 stainless steel. N690 takes an incredibly sharp edge and holds onto it. Increased toughness gives it better resistance to edge chipping. The blade has been hollow ground to a high performance edge. A raised thumb rest provides a secure, comfortable grip. The deep belly is perfect for skinning or use as a utility knife.
Stabilized and dyed kudu bone handle scales are set to the full tang using five stainless steel pins.
This sturdy knife is comfortable to hold and has excellent balance. From skinning, to field processing, to cooking around the campsite, this knife has you covered!
Excellent work throughout!
