Description: Growing up in an age when there were no computers and very little television, a good deal of Flynt's time was spent playing in the woods, where a knife was a necessary tool. This gave him a fascination for knives that he never got over. In 1966 he made his first knife out of a industrial reciprocating saw blade while working in the ship building industry. In 2006 he retired from his primary profession and became a full time knife maker. This amber stag hunter is a beautiful piece that is sure to be a favorite hunter or the highlight of a collection.
The blade was ground to shape from high performing ATS-34 stainless steel. The hollow ground blade, ensures a keen, long lasting edge with easy touchups. The spine is hand fileworked in a vine pattern.
The amber stag handle is perfectly shaped for a comfortable grip. The natural texture ensures that it won't slip in your hand. A lavender reconstituted stone spacer add just the right amount of color.
To keep the blade protected during transportation, a brown leather sheath made by Robert is included.
Excellent work throughout!
