In 1999 my family and I moved back to our home state of Montana. This move allowed me the opportunity to change careers. I decided to combine my love for knives with my longtime desire to blacksmith. Being a full-time bladesmith from the start has given me the opportunity to refine my technique in a short time period. I was also fortunate enough to have been schooled by ABS Mastersmith Ed Caffrey early on. Ed has been, and will continue to be, a great inspiration to me.

I offer a wide variety of fixed handforged blade knives which include caping, hunting/utility and bowie knives. I also make tomahawks. Having sole ownership in my knives is important to me. I do all my own forging, heat treating, guard, handle and sheath work. This allows me the creative freedom and personal accountability needed to produce the finest blade I can possibly make. I personally test each and every blade before it leaves my shop. All my knives are warranted for as long as I am physically able to make knives (hopefully this will be a long time). This warranty includes everything but abuse and normal wear. I also include free cleaning and sharpening to my customers.
