Description: Ole Pedersen was born and raised in Denmark but now hails from Washington State. He is an up-and-coming knifemaker to watch. His work has clean, crisp lines. Makers such as Bruce Bump and Todd Begg have guided Ole in the art of knife making. Ole finds inspiration in our avian friends and this knife is named the Eagle.
The hollow ground blade is formed from CPM154 stainless steel, a steel well known for its superior edge retention and rust resistant qualities.
A distal tapered tang ensures optimal balance. The blade meets the handle with a deep choil (finger rest). Satin finished 416 stainless steel bolsters meet seamlessly with both blade and scales. The handle is made of Arizona desert ironwood. A soaring eagle cut from ox horn has been inlaid into each side of the handle. Two stainless steel Corby rivets hold the scales securely in place. By creating a slight dome to the handle, Ole made a knife that is very comfortable to hold. This piece is accompanied by a very nice custom black leather sheath.
