Description: Journeyman Smith John Parks creates an exceptional knife. Beginning with round bar 5160, he hand forged this enticing hunter with an integral guard. This technique shows tremendous skill and creates a knife with exceptional integrity.
The blade is differentially heat treated resulting in a very long lasting edge with great durability. A hand rubbed satin finish to the blade and an antiqued finish on the bolster creates a true heirloom feel to this knife. The spine and integral guard have been meticulously carved for a timeless, elegant appearance. The mesquite wood handle fits perfectly to the integral bolster and has a tremendous swirling figure. The handle is completed with an inlaid bamboo plug.
Captivating for the eye and comfortable in the hand. Excellent work throughout!
