Description: Journeyman Smith John Parks creates an exceptional knife. Beginning with round bar 5160, he hand forged this enticing hunter with an integral guard. This technique shows tremendous skill and creates a knife with exceptional integrity.
The blade is differentially heat treated resulting in a very long lasting edge with great durability. A hand rubbed satin finish to the blade and an antiqued finish on the bolster creates a true heirloom feel to this knife. The cocobolo wood handle fits perfectly to the integral bolster and has warm red tones throughout. The handle is completed with an inlaid African blackwood plug.
Captivating for the eye and comfortable in the hand. Excellent work throughout!
