Description: Aaron Wilburn, who was honored as an ABS Mastersmith Smith in June of 2013, creates knives that mean business and this elegant hunter is a great example of his work. This dramatic clip point hunter shows the influence of knives by Mastersmiths Ed Fowler and Bill Burke.
The blade was forged to shape from Aaron's own firestorm pattern damascus. The intricate damascus combines two different steels to create the elegant and dramatic lines that travel across the steel.
The handle combines a hippo tooth tip, left almost entirely in the natural shape, with flame textured wrought iron. The wrought iron guard ensures your hand will not slide onto the blade. The balance is perfect - this is a knife that feels so natural in the hand, you’ll have a hard time putting it down.
The knife is accompanied by a hand stitched sheath. The elegant leather is wrapped in shark skin.
