Description: This captivating drop point hunter was created by Journeyman Smith Doug Campbell. It is a knife that immediately grabs your attention and needs to be picked up. After doing so, it is pretty tough to put it down!
The long, slender blade was forged to shape from W2 carbon steel. Following a traditional Japanese technique, the spine was coated with clay prior to heat treatment. The lines moving through the steel show the transition between the soft, supportive spine, and the keen, long lasting cutting edge. This line is called a hamon.
A wrought iron bolster separates the blade and handle. Amber stag scales are set on a frame. Nickel silver surrounds G10, making the appearance of a full tang san mai construction. The resulting appearance is enticing and exceptionally well performed. This knife has perfect balance in the hand, with the center just behind the guard. Exceptional fit and finish throughout!
