Description: This is the hunter that has made D'Holder a household name amongst knife collectors. The fit and finish are exceptional. This 'My Knife' has been in a knifemaker's private collection. It is a knife from which he drew inspiration over the years. It has been meticulously cared for and is in new condition. It has not been used to cut and shows no signs of wear.
The ATS-34 stainless steel blade has been meticulously hollow ground and mirror polished. The stacked handle combines spacers formed from oosic, amber, and maple burl -- each surrounded by nickel and red fiber spacers. The dyed and stabilized maple burl combines green and tan tones with the underlying burled figure -- and the combination is beautiful! The knife feels great in the hand - a swell at the palm makes it very comfortable in a variety of hand-holds. A nickel silver guard and pommel nicely surround the hand, offering added protection during use. A true classic!
