Description: South African knifemaker George Muller makes an exceptionally dramatic knife -- and at a price that would never be found from a US maker. The colors, textures and style all work perfectly together.
The clip point blade is formed from twist pattern stainless damascus forged by Damasteel in Sweden. The blade is well centered and is easily opened with one hand using the ambidextrous flipper toggle. The blade uses the IKBS (Ikoma Korth Bearing System) pivot system. This mechanism, which was originally designed to fit balisong knives, uses ball bearings to create exceptional action with no blade play. Anodized titanium liners surround a 416 stainless steel backbar.
The handle material is mammoth molar from Alaska. The scales show a beautiful melding with hues of blues, whites, and blacks. The bolsters are a very unique mosaic damascus depicting a detailed spider at the center of its steel web. The handle is completed with a stainless damascus pocket clip. The end of the pocket clip is inlaid with a faceted ruby.
Excellent fit and finish throughout!
