Description: This unique folder by Dan Dugdale of Massachusetts is aptly named the Goblin. The handles of charcoal grey anodized aluminum are machined in a series of opposing angles, a Goblin's scaly skin, which provide a sure, non-slip grip. The solid aluminum frame offers an open-frame construction, separated by satin finished spacers. Visibly prominent on the front of the handle is a silver "eye", a checkered fileworked disc, allowing the knife to be "pinched" and opened with one hand -- or one can utilize the matching fileworked ambidextrous thumbstud. The notched thumb rest protrudes when the blade is closed, forming a front flipper that resembles a goblin's cap. This front flipper allows for easy single-handed opening. The action is buttery smooth. The Goblin's blade is D2, a tough tool steel, and is polished to a satin finish. The button lock lies just beneath the pivot disc, and is recessed into the handle but is easily accessible. This knife comes with a pocket clip and is situated for a tip-up carry. The clip is also swappable to the opposite side for left-handed carry.
