Description: As an avid hunter, Randy knows how a knife should perform. The steel should be hard and maintain a superior edge. Though Randy is best known for his hunters, when he puts his hands to creating Bowies and large fighters, he brings the same ideas of quality and design to these pieces. The result is exceptional.
The hollow ground CPM154 stainless steel blade will maintain a superior edge and will be easy to re-sharpen, due to the hollow grind. Hardened to 59-60 Rc, Randy has ensured that the blade will keep it edge through the most difficult tasks.
Arizona desert ironwood is nicely set against African blackwood, oosic, and fire amber spacers. Red fiber spacers assist the handle to adjust to changes in temperature and humidity. The nickel silver sub-hilt guard brings the weight back into the handle for an exceptional balance. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
