Description: This elegant trailing point hunter is sure to be at home in any collection, yet it will hold up well to the demands of outdoor use.
The upswept blade is formed from cryogenically heat treated CMP154CM stainless steel. A cryogenic heat treat makes the blade have a particularly aggressive edge that will hold its sharpness. Hand filework along the spine ensured a secure thumb purchase. Both blade and tang are distal tapered for especially good balance.
The handle combines premium mammoth ivory with black buffalo horn spacers. Mosaic pins. Red fiber spacers assist the handle to adjust to temperature and humidity changes. Both the bolsters and stainless spacers have been textured.
Exceptional work throughout!
