Description: Journeyman Smith Erik Fritz's EDC packs a lot of performance into a small package and will be an asset by your side - in any situation.
The 52100 carbon steel blade was triple quenched and triple tempered for grain refinement and optimal edge holding. Many makers and collectors feel that 52100 is among the best steels available for knifemaking. When combined with a triple temper and triple quench, as shown in the works of Mastersmith Bill Burke, the results are exceptional. A meticulous hand satin finish is a nice touch. Erik’s mark is hand engraved on the left side of the blade.
Warm toned Arizona desert ironwood scales are nicely rounded for a sure, comfortable, secure grip. They are set on the full tang for strength and durability. Torx attachments allow the scales to be removed if ever needed for repairs.
The knife is accompanied by a hand tooled leather custom sheath was made by Glen Simenson.
An excellent knife from Erik Fritz with his signature classic look and feel!
