Description: This elegant Slipjoint Trapper was built by Illinois bladesmith Rick Nowland. Rick specializes in slip joint folders and is a force to be reckoned with.
The premium CPM-154 stainless steel blade ensures a keen, long lasting edge. This powdered metallurgical steel has a particularly small grain structure, making it take an extremely keen edge and hold it while remaining tough and chip resistant. It is easily opened using the right-handed thumb nick. The well-centered blade has consistent action with a half stop.
Antique rag Micarta handle scales are set between front and rear 416 stainless steel bolsters. For increased strength and durability, the bolsters are integral to the liners. The left scale is inlaid with a stainless escutcheon.
Excellent work throughout.
