This Slimline Stockman features three blades, a 2.9 inch clip point for fine detail work, a 1.9 inch spey blade for skinning, and a 1.8 inch sheepsfoot blade for cutting and dicing. The Stockman is a classic folder that is able to tackle most any task. The blades are hand ground CPM154 stainless steel. This powdered metallurgical steel has a particularly small grain structure, making it take an extremely keen edge and hold it while remaining tough and chip resistant. They flat ground with a hand rubbed satin finish. The blades have smooth, consistent action with a well timed half stop.
Amber jigged bone handle scales meet perfectly with front and rear 416 stainless steel bolsters. The bolsters are integral to the fileworked liners.
Excellent work throughout!
