David BrodziakDavid Brodziak was born in Chatswood, N.S.W., Australia in 1948 and began making knives in 1989 after a lifelong interest in art, woodwork and metalwork. Knifemaking quickly became a passion and in 1993 Dave began making knives full-time – and has never looked back!

Since then, he has enjoyed making a diverse range of knives, from practical working knives to beautiful and unique art knives, featuring the decorative art of his wife, Carol Ann O'Connor. He works with various types of blade steel and a large variety of handle materials, including timbers from the Goldfields of Western Australia. He enjoys experimenting with new designs and styles, and is proud to have won awards both nationally and internationally.

When Dave isn’t making knives, he enjoys camping, fishing, and gardening.
